Fashion Valley Shopping Mall

Fashion Valley is probably the most upscale mall in San Diego. It’s a two level mall that was upgraded several years ago. If you want to visit Tiffany’s, Sak’s or Coach, this is the place in San Diego to do so.

The food selection is often upscale as well, not so much fast food as in other malls, although there is some available. But if you want to sit down and eat, there are places to do that.

The movie theater is very comfortable. It’s a nice, modern setup and the seating is great.

There are parking structures all around, so much of the year the parking is plentiful. The one challenge can be those rare times when San Diego gets a serious rainstorm parts of the lot can flood. Fortunately most years that only happens a couple times and may not happen every year.

Even the smaller stores tend to be upscale when compared to other malls. You aren’t going to see all the same stores you seem to see at other malls. Yes, you will see Starbucks and some other very common stores, but there are many others that will offer quality you can’t get just anywhere.

It’s pretty easy to get to, being near both the 8 and the 163. However, traffic can be heavy sometimes, especially during the holidays. There’s valet parking and the trolley also stops at the mall.
