Get to Know San Diego

Garden Road Elementary in Poway has been undergoing some improvements recently. It housed the students of Midland Elementary when that one was being built, and as of this writing they are still working on the improvements.

The playground equipment is new, put in over the summer of 2006. The kids clearly love it.

There are two levels of preschool - one for 3 year olds and another for 4 year olds. There are also two options for kindergarten - a standard one year or a two year program. Preschool teachers help to assess children for which program they are likely to do better in. This is to try to help keep the kids at a educational level that they are emotionally ready for.
