Get to Know San Diego

The Bahia Resort Hotel has a lovely beach setting. It’s located on a peninsula on Mission Bay, giving you a view of either the bay or the Pacific Ocean.

The grounds really stand out. Paths wind throughout the resort. You’ll enjoy the tropical gardens. The most unusual feature, however, is the seal pool. The Bahia Resort Hotel is home to two harbor seals. These animals are quite playful.

The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. You’ll get great amenities in every room, even high speed internet access. In addition to the basic rooms, you can choose a suite with a kitchenette and refrigerator or a studio with a kitchenette and a dining area.

A personal favorite is the Bahia Belle, a Mississippi-style sternwheeler. It’s a truly beautiful ship, both inside and out. It travels from the Bahia Resort Hotel to the Catamaran Hotel and back. These cruises are free for guests, but non-guests can buy tickets as well.

If you don’t feel like swimming in the ocean, the pool and spa may be more your style. It’s a comfortable area to just relax at the start or end of the day.

You can enjoy a good meal at the Bahia as well. You can choose from the Café Bahia for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or have a cocktail or lighter food at the Tangier Lounge. Or, of course, there’s always room service.

The Bahia Resort Hotel is great for special occasions or just that special vacation. The grounds and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. This hotel really stands out in San Diego.
